Machinima FTW

Wow, so I really wish there was like a website that you could pay to do this for you like with term papers, cause this was nothing but a pain in the ass.  It’s like you have to spend this unlimited amount of time devoted to these videos to accomplish something very small.

Editing?  Forget it!  Maybe with a different program it would be easier, but Windows Movie Maker seems liek a very simple program, and I really didn’t have too much of a problem navigating it.

It’s possible, of course, that we just picked a movie that was difficult to recreate, and then picked a game that didn’t have all of the tools we would have needed at our disposal.

Well, two things.  One, we didn’t want to pick a movie that was too overused or  too common.  So no LOTR, no Matrix, etc.  Secondly, we didnt have access to a good amount of fully controllable games, and we thought it would be cheap to use the Reservoir Dogs video game to recreate a scene from the movie.

I think if given more time, and access to a free-roaming game w/ controllable camera angles, etc., we could probably have a cool video on our hands.  Also, i would have to quit my job and drop out of my other classes, cause damn are those things time consuming.

When I was reading up on the Tokyo Game Show, I was excited to see two things.  The first was that Ubisoft picked up No More Heroes from Suda Gouichi for US release.  The second was DMC4 being released on PC and 360 as well.  Seeing as how I’ll never buy a PS3 that comes out this year, this news bodes well for me.

Enjoy a clip of the first Boss Battle from DMC4.
